The title of this novel is “ Dear Umbrella”, it has 310 pages. Written by Alfian Daniera and published by teen@noura at Jl. Jogjakarta No. 40 Jogjakarta – Jakarta Selatan. First copy on Mei, 1st 2013.

B.   Synopsis

Maybe for us umbrella just an umbrella, the thing that almost has no important meaning in our life. But not so for Raline, a teenager from Magetan village. The umbrella got a worthy memory for her.

            A white umbrella painted of flower and the butterflies fly around it was given to her by Zidan, the day before he went to Jakarta without permission, not a single word was said. For her, Keeping the umbrella with all her heart just like keeping her feeling to Zidan.

            Since he has gone. Raline become a reticent girl, even after 3 years passed she still a reticent girl. Only an umbrella that accompany her, an umbrella with full of memories that was always brought by her everywhere. She also often write a letter for Zidan everytime she remember anything about Zidan.

            Her peaceful life with her father, mother and her younger brother ( rafin ) disturbed. When he worked at night market he had an accident. Although he wasn’t die, but he couldn’t work for a while. It means there is no incoming for Raline & Rafin school cost. And for her father’s treatment & prepare the birh of his litle bro / sist.

            Raline is taken care by Eyang Utomo ( uncle of his mother ), so that she still can go to school in Jakarta. Her new friends help her adapt in the new environment. Her close friend, megan, has the same of family bacground. Makes Raline also wanna take part time job.

            At her work place, he know Elbert. A weird guy, and annoying, time passed and finaly she is impressed by him. The problem started when he met Zidan. When she had taken the reality that He is gone. On the other side, elbert Also loving her. Who will she choose ?
